    Cautions
    Not for human consumption. Wash hands after feeding/handling animals. Wash feed/water containers after use.

    While stirring, mix 0.33 pounds* dry weight of Sav-A-Foal® Foal Milk Replacer in 1 quart of 110-120 F water by slowly adding milk replacer powder to water. Feeding temperature should be 100-105 F.

    Mixing Tip: The ratio is 1 part powder to 3 parts water by volume.

    *Enclosed scoop holds approximately 0.33 lbs of Sav-A-Foal powder. Weigh powder for accuracy.

    *Feed at least the high end of the feeding rate range to large breed foals when maximum growth is desired. 
    Ponies should be fed at half the lowest feeding rate for each age period.

    Provide fresh clean water and a high-quality creep feed. Gradually increase feeding rate over time.

     

    IMPORTANT: 

    Ensure foals receive colostrum from the amre as soon as possible after birth. Buckets are an acceptable means of providing liquid Sav-A-Foal Foal Milk Replacer to foals. If persistent scours occur, consults with your veterinarian. Reseal pail between feedings to maintain freshness. Keep foals in a dry, draft-free environment. Do not feed milk replacer that is left over for more than 12 hours.
